For this assignment, I was tasked with creating a portrait of a person of my choice. I decided to do a portrait of famous musician Mac DeMarco as I had been greatly interested in his music at the time.
I utilized a variety of text manipulation techniques within Adobe Illustrator in order to achieve a sort of wavy vibe that I felt very much fit Mac DeMarco's laid-back psychedelic vibe he brings to his tracks.
