Created and selected for the 2025 United States International Poster Biennial competition for the student National Park poster category. My chosen park was the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. With my design, I wanted to highlight the scenic views and striking topography and incorporated historical park maps to help illustrate this concept.

Initially, I had two additional concepts in mind, one that would have a much more vintage travel look and another that was meant to be a sort of mandala-inspired collage design featuring flora and fauna from the park. While I was quite fond of the flora/fauna concept, I ultimately decided to move forward with the map/topography concept due to the composition generally feeling more solidified and also because I felt as though it fit the format of a poster much better, as I felt I was a bit constrained to the poster dimensions for the mandala.
